D-Link DSL-2640T – Wireless Signal on but no internet?

This happened when I was at a friend's place. I needed to use her wifi but she forgot the WEP code. So, in a haste, I reset the wireless router. Managed to set up a new passcode and I got on the wireless network. But there was NO INTERNET!
